What is Salvation?
Salvation is a precious and free gift from God. It is not earned by works, but is given by grace to those who ask God for it. Salvation results in the forgiveness of ALL your sins and causes God to remember your sins no more. "For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).

What does it mean to be Born-again?
Being Born Again or Saved means that you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. Just like physical life begins at natural birth, spiritual life begins by giving birth to the spirit within you. Christ died to save us, not in our sins, but from our sins; "and we were yet sinners when he died for us." (Romans 5:10-12).Nevertheless, you can be spiritually Born Again and have a new life with a commitment to serve Jesus Christ. God will recreate within you new life! (2 Corinthians 5:17).

How do I become Born again?
The Word is near to you, it is in your mouth and in your heart! (Romans 10:8) When you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe that God has raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, you pass from spiritual death into spiritual life. "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved" (Romans 10: 9).

What must I do to be saved?
First, you must Repent "turn around" and go in the opposite direction away from self and sin and toward God and His will. (Acts 3:19)  Second, you must Confess (an admission of sins and the profession of belief in Jesus Christ).  Third, Believe (trust in God's Word, the Gospel of Jesus Christ) and you will be Saved from Sin and Death (the result of sin.) According to Acts 4:12, "There is no other name, under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved." Jesus is waiting to receive you, ask Him to come into your heart right now by saying this prayer (aloud):

Dear God in Heaven,
I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your Word says, he that cometh to You, You would no wise cast out, but that You would take me in, and I thank You for it.

You also said, That if I CONFESS with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall BELIEVE in my heart that God has raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, I shall be SAVED.

Therefore, according to Your Word I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He (Jesus) was raised from the dead for my sins, and I confess Him now as my Lord and Savior.

I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ and I thank You for saving me in Jesus' name.
AMEN.
